Courtney & Michael’s Downtown Winter Garden Engagement

Downtown Winter Garden Engagement

Courtney and Michael braved the unknown weather that has been off and on with rain to meet me out in Downtown Winter Garden for their gorgeous engagement session.  As luck may have it, the rain parted ways just long enough for us to have a gorgeous session!

Ironically enough, I actually met my sweethearts just one day after they met during Courtney’s sisters wedding.  Jennifer, Courtney’s sister and she her Maid of Honor, and Peter, my groom and Michael’s best friend, tied the knot during their Bok Tower wedding.  Sparks flew during the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding when the two were introduced, but it took just under a year for the two to officially start dating.  It is pretty incredible to have photos of my couple from the time they first met.

Falling in love with how Michael is a “big goofball,” Courtney explained that Michael makes her feel safe and calm.  For Michael, he fell in love with how Courtney “is not afraid to be her witty self.”  It is so incredibly important to be able to cherish each other for who they are – silliness, whit, and all.

Engaged at Magic Kingdom in February of this year, Michael started off their forever together at the most magical place on Earth.  Thinking something was up from the get go of planning, Courtney noted that Michael “doesn’t make plans!”  However, she didn’t suspect what was to come fully, and was still surprised. Of course, Courtney said “YES!” and the proposal went off without a hitch!

Looking forward to capturing these two tie the knot this coming February at the beautiful Estate on the Halifax!
