Lucky winners, Sara and Kyle had one of the most incredible engagement sessions during our Summer Engagement Giveaway. Their engagement session took place at the stunning Magnolia House at Trilogy in Groveland, Florida. Debuted in the Fall of 2012, it is quite simply spectacular. The drive up to the venue is breathtaking as you pass along oak trees and grassy fields, but the most breathtaking of all is the front exterior of the grand venue. The picture perfect exterior showcases its massive columns and grand windows across the entire front and back. As you enter the 57,000 square foot club, you will be greeted by an incredible staff with impeccable taste. Pops of yellow and grey decorate the chairs, tables, and walls.
Sara began her engagement experience in the Ladies Locker Room with having make up and hair done by Jenny Satin with Jenny Satin Make Up and Hair. Jenny Satin is known for her ability to bring both the subject’s inner and outer beauty shine. Her goal is to “make every woman feel more beautiful than she could have ever imagined while being comfortable and excited to have her as their Makeup Artist.” When Sara and Kyle walked in, Sara was absolutely excited, but after spending time with Jenny she was just walking on air!
While Sara was getting dolled up, Lia Brigner and I set up in Emma’s Kitchen. Emma’s Kitchen looks as though it is set on the Food Network. Clean and pristine, it was the perfect spot to feature Lia’s cupcakes. Lia has been working in the baking and pastry industry for nearly 14 years and has worked at many prestigious hotels. Her work has been featured in Orlando Wedding, Central Florida Bride, and The Knot Magazine. Lia’s passion for detail, love for her work, and dedication, has honed her craft in creating couture wedding cakes. Lia surprised Sara and Kyle with lilac cupcakes to match one of Sara’s favorite dresses. It was a great way to start off the session with a little sweetness.
Erica Jaze, Special Events Director at Magnolia House, also surprised the couple with a sweet treat for breakfast. Her chef’s incredible spread of fruits, cheeses, and breads was just absolutely delicious. We all kept coming back to the fruit spread and cupcakes throughout the day!
After sampling some sweets, we headed outside to grab some gorgeous spinning shots that the couple requested. The magnificent front exterior was perfect for showcasing both the couple and venue’s beauty. Once we finished grabbing a few adorable spinning shots, we headed inside to the sparkling hallways of the Magnolia House.
Of course the day wouldn’t be finished without visiting one of my favorite rooms, the Art Room! Speckled primary colors line tables, chairs, and floors, which made for a fun ring shot to debut Sara’s new bling! That’s right, Kyle proposed to Sara just the night before! Kyle had been planning to propose to Sara for sometime, but wanted to wait until the moment was right. Sara had hints that it might be coming soon and it was just such an incredible omen to win the engagement session. Kyle actually proposed to her the night before our shoot at a rock concert. It was the perfect setting, as the two love listening to music, attending concerts, and rocking out with friends. While Sara got up to grab a drink, Kyle asked a couple behind him to capture his proposal on camera. She was so incredibly excited and giddy to say yes to the man of her dreams. I am so happy for this incredible couple as they begin their wedding planning and journey through life together!
