The Frazier and Rocheford families met me out in Montverde for a sweet family photo session together for the holidays. I loved the idea of best friends coming together to take their family photos together and separately, along with individual portraits of the kiddos. Mommy Katie and mommy Stacia actually met 16 years back when they became best friends.
It is incredible to think about how much has happened in such a short time, from Katie meeting her husband Tyler and Stacia meeting her husband Chad to both of them having little ones of their own. Their friendship must have been contagious because Tyler and Chad have also become best friends as well. Needless to say our shoot was an absolute blast and utterly silly between the two of them making jokes and the little ones playing with light sabers.
With the holidays upon us, I always like to reflect on who you are as a person and what you love. Being a parent is an incredible and rewarding point in your life that is ongoing. I asked Katie and Stacia what they love most about being mommies… Katie explained that for her and Tyler, “what we love most about being parents is the unconditional love our children give us and they love they share towards each other as brothers” and Stacia explained that for her and Chad, “being a parent is the most challenging and rewarding experience in life. I love that Reese challenges us to be the best versions of ourselves, and her love and affection, hugs and kisses, are always the best reward.” Since becoming parents, Stacia and Chad have found that “experiencing the joy of the holidays through the eyes of a 3 years old makes it all more meaningful, happy and exciting.” Reese truly has an outgoing spirit and kept her own with the boys. She was flying past them while running around with her little light saber and having a blast dueling it out. Katie and Tyler reminisced on prior Christmas’ that seeing the “excitement and joy on the boys faces Christmas morning when they wake up” to see presents from Santa is a magical moment along with the family time they spend.
Wishing you an incredible holiday season that is just as incredible as my sweet friends’ families!
