Baby Daniel arrived healthy and happy into the arms of his incredible family on November 16th. To celebrate his arrival, we planned out a newborn session that would take place in their home. Evgenia is a good friend of mine and I just couldn’t wait to capture such a major family milestone.
Upon arriving, big brother Andrew greeted me with a big smile and tons of ideas for photos. He had clearly been up all night thinking about how he would like everyone to be photographed. Of course, I loved incorporating his ideas from the family together, to just the boys, and mommy and daddy alone.
In addition to making time for the family to be photographed together, we also captured a bunch of newborn portraits of little Daniel alone. By the time it was his turn to take photos, he had fallen asleep. It is a tough job being a little newborn and I think he had become a little tired out from the family photos. Posing him gently, we repositioned baby Daniel to grab sweet images of his little feet, little hands, and face. I had also brought a crown ornament along that I picked up at Target thinking it would be a fun prop for our shoot. Little did I know how little Daniel was! While the crown was probably a little too big for him, it still was a cute little prop for a handful of photos.
Wishing this sweet baby boy and his amazing family a wonderful holiday season and beautiful New Year!
