Stacie and Jason tied the knot during their wedding at the beautiful Pavilion on the Lake in Tavares, Florida. Tucked away on the water near Wooton Park in Downtown Tavares, the two story wedding venue boasts beautiful glass walls and a glamourous cruise boat feel. My favorite features of the stunning venue though are the numerous winding, wooden staircases inside and out. Lovers of the water, Stacie and Jason knew right away when searching for venues that the Tavares Pavilion was their dream wedding location.
My sweet couple actually met back in 2012 during a super bowl party at Jason’s brother’s home. Their instant connection and love of football was the perfect match. The two love how laid back one another is on top of being incredibly patient and kind. After dating for a few years, Jason knew that there was no other girl in the world for him. His proposal to Stacie was true to their laid back nature, as he asked her to marry him while in line for pizza at their favorite place in Saint Augustine, Florida called Pizza Time.
Our day started of capturing the details of Jason and after moving to Stacie’s details as well. Her daughter Brianna helped her mom with getting ready, while Jason’s son Gabe helped his dad. Their blended family truly came together as perfect little puzzle pieces for the excitement of what was yet to come.
When ceremony time finally approached, Jason couldn’t help but breakout into tears as he first saw Stacie. I have to admit that I couldn’t help but tear up myself after seeing how his emotions overcame him seeing his wife to be for the very first time. Stacie was just as filled with tears of joy as she walked down the aisle on the arm of her hero, her grandfather.
After a family sand pouring, saying their “I Do’s,” and sharing a first kiss as Mr. and Mrs. we headed to a quiet room for family hugs, while guests departed for cocktail hour. Formal portraits with family and their wedding party took place at the same spot as their ceremony, which was a beautiful backdrop for a gorgeous family. As much as I love the beautiful woodwork inside of the building, I also wanted to grab natural beauty of trees outside. Following our newlyweds, my team and I headed over to Wooton Park to grab outdoor shots among the beautiful oak trees and wild flowers. Newlywed portraits are always my favorite part of weddings, and it also happened to be one of Stacie and Jason’s favorite events as well. The two loved taking photos and their love for one another shined through.
The reception took place upstairs, which was perfect for seeing the endless water of Lake Dora. Dinner is always a treat when catered by John Michaels Events. DJ Fred Jones had guests dancing the night away with throwbacks and the latest hits. Our night ended with a beautiful sunset shot and farewell to our sweet family.
Wishing a beautiful journey ahead as a beautiful blended family!
