Yarely and Adolfo met me out in the heart of downtown area of the City of Winter Park for their adorable football inspired engagement session. Big fans of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New England Patriots, the two wanted to incorporate their love of the game into their engagement.
My two sweethearts met by chance in the Summer of 2015 at a Tampa Bay Rays game. Yarely was invited by her best friend to tag along to meet up with a mutual friend of theirs from a previous job. Their friend had plans to go with their best friend as well, however a last minute change led to Adolfo being invited. As Yarely explains, “if it wasn’t for the circumstances we probably would have never met.”
Being “absolute dorks together,” in having a blast no matter what they do has led to a sweet romance. “From going to football games to running half marathons together we always find a way to have fun with whatever it is that we’re doing” as Adolfo describes. Truly it is the silly things like telling “corny jokes” and laughing at life that has led to their standing relationship. I must say that I completely agree with my two ‘characters’ as they were rather hilarious to be with. I don’t think I have ever laughed as much as I did at any other engagement like I did at Yarely and Adolfo’s engagement session. The two were so willing to try different ‘football moves’ that I thought would make for a great pose, even if they didn’t work out. Adolfo couldn’t help but laugh along with Yarely, whose adorable laugh is nothing but contagious.
For Yarely’s 25th birthday, she planned a “girls trip” that turned into a friends and family trip with her best friend’s family, Yarely’s family, and Adolfo’s family all tagging along to join in on the phone. With such a large party, the group celebrated birthdays and milestones every single night at dinner as the cruise line served up the most delicious birthday cake and sang traditional birthday songs. One night at dinner, two days early to Yarely’s birthday, the attention and focus turned to Yarely. She figured the cake coming out of the kitchen was an early birthday cake and was ready for the impending birthday ritual they had had the previous nights. With the cake set in front of her, she realized in the place of candles there was a message, which ready, “Will you marry me?” Adolfo had planned the whole proposal before the cruise and to Yarely’s delight she turned to Adolfo who was down on one knee and said, “yes!” As Yarely reminisces, “I don’t even remember what it was that he said since it all went by in a blur for me and I just couldn’t focus with everything going on.” What a beautiful moment to share with all of their loved ones!
Looking forward to capturing these two silly sweethearts tie the knot in September beach side at the Crystal Ballroom at Sunset Harbor!
