Katherine and Dana were married at 520 on the Water in Sanford, Florida. The couple celebrated their love, on a gorgeous Florida day, surrounded by their family and friends, in an intimate ceremony. The celebration of the happy couple continued through the night with dancing! We wish the couple continued love and happiness!
The Proposal
We took a road trip to Chattanooga, TN in February 2022. Dana planned for us to take a hike up to Sunset Rock on Lookout Mountain first thing the next morning. We thought this would be a casual 1.5 mile hike, however it ended up being quite risky for some girls used to hiking in Florida. We walked, we climbed, and in certain places we crawled, but we made it to the top. Before we could hardly calm our nerves after reaching the top, Dana was suggesting we ask someone to take our picture. After a few minutes of convincing, Kat finally asked someone to snap a photo (the person ended up being a professional photographer – she really knows how to pick them). While the woman was snapping a photo, Dana grabbed the ring from her pocket and popped the question 80ft up on Sunset Rock overlooking all of Chattanooga. The trip back down was much easier, so we stopped by Publix, grabbed a bottle of champagne, and celebrated just the two of us on our little balcony back at the AirBnB. The rest of the trip was spent checking out the restaurants we stalked online for months in advance, taking photos on the footbridge, and making pottery at a small shop over the Georgia line.
Wedding Day Vision
For the wedding day, the vision was going for a rustic but classy look, using primary colors, black and terracotta. The dinner settings will have black plates, gold silverware, and terracotta napkins. The centerpieces are simple, with succulents and small glass vases with simple accent plants and candles.
