Harbour House Wedding - Corner House Photography

Angela and Nick said their “I do’s” at their stunning, waterfront Harbour House Events wedding in Indian Harbour Beach, Florida! We couldn’t have wished for a more perfect day to celebrate these two.

The Proposal

Nick had originally planned to propose to Angela on a day-date trip to St. Augustine during the last weekend of their summer break from graduate school. They toured around on the trolley all day, saw the historic sites, the distilleries, lighthouse, and famous Columbia restaurant. It was a dream Saturday and Angela even caught an inkling that it may be the time. However, the day came and went and no proposal; the opportunity didn’t present itself in a way Nick felt was special enough. They decided to extend the weekend of romance and catch Sunday brunch together at Flagler Tavern in New Smyrna Beach and then walk around the cute beach town together. The date was July 12, 2020. Angela’s best friend from high school was traveling through the area, so she took a break in the day to catch up with her. Nick and Angela had plans to link back up for a sunset near the lighthouse at Ponce Inlet, Florida. They walked out far to the rocks that faced directly west over the river that overlook the marina and the lighthouse. Holding each other, the two enjoyed God’s beauty. Just as the sun dipped to the horizon, Nick took a step back, got down on one knee and asked Angela to spend the rest of their lives together with the most gorgeous ring. It was an instant and excited “YES!” and their love story remains locked in time.
