Elizabeth and Tim tied the knot at their local church, the Cocoa Beach Community Church, in Cocoa Beach, Florida. The two envisioned a traditional wedding filled with the love of their closest family and friends celebrating afterwards during their reception.
How They Met
Growing up Merritt Island, Tim and I have always known each other through church and school. We became good friends in highschool running on the cross country team together. We both went away to school at the University of South Florida in Tampa. There Tim asked me on our first date to Carrabba’s, and the rest is history!
What They Love Most About One Another
Elizabeth fell in love with how patient and calm Tim is, while Tim fell in love with how down to earth Elizabeth is, and how funny she is! Truly best friends, they could not imagine their lives without one another.
The Proposal
Tim proposed the day after Christmas. I had just gotten off of work when I heard a knock at my door. I had thought he was still spending time with family in Merritt Island but he had really driven all the way to Tampa that evening to suprise me after work, and bring me dinner from where we had our first date (Carrabba’s) . I was very supprised to see him standing at my front door and when I let him in, he came into the kitchen and dropped to one knee and popped the question!
Wedding Day Vision
We envision a traditional wedding with classic and rustic themes as well as pastel and neutral hues. The wedding will be in the historical Cocoa Beach Community Church with stainglass windows and beautiful wooden beams. We will be surrounded by family and friends, and hope for a relaxing day where we can focus on one another and the start of our beautiful marriage.
