Hannah and Hunt tied the knot during their destination wedding at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando, Florida. Family and friends flew in from all over the United States to celebrate such a magical moment and start to their journey through marriage.
Hunt first laid eyes on Hannah during an ice storm get together at a mutual friend’s home. Hannah had been invited over by her friend to weather out the storm and also meet a potential prospect that she thought might be a good match for her, however while Hannah hit it off, it wasn’t with the potential guy her firned had in mind. As Hannah walked into the home, it was like time stopped when Hunt laid eyes on her. After chatting for a bit, they replied their was a chemistry between them and Hannah was quite taken by the true Southern gentleman that Hunt was.
Dating soon ensued and the two became an inseparable pair. Hannah fell in love with how hunt would truly “go to the moon and back” if she needed him too in his endeavor to always keep her happy. It is that happiness and kindheartedness in which Hunt fell in love with. As he explains it, “I love Hannah’s kindheartedness and her ability to see the good in everyone. She continues to push me to be the best that I can be.”
The Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress is so much more than just a stunningly beautiful wedding venue for my duo. It has memories of both their proposal and now engagement, and truly has become a place the two visit every chance they get. During a vacation getaway, Hunt surprised Hannah with upgrading them to a suite so that their balcony would be overlooking the Disney parks. The view was marvelous, but the surprise in store would be so much more. After finishing up getting ready for a night out, Hannah joined Hunt on the balcony where he was waiting for her. Getting down on one knee, Hunt proposed to Hannah with fireworks in the background. As Hannah describes it, it was “the happiest night of my life. We celebrated by having dinner and enjoying the rest of our vacation time in full bliss.”
Fast forward to their wedding day, we were greeted by our lovely bride Hannah and her girls who were wrapping up hair and makeup. Arriving a bit early to avoid the Disney traffic, we started off with Hannah’s details. While not part of her personal details, one of the most sentimental and sweetest gifts I have ever seen was included for pictures. During their first look, Hannah planned to surprise Hunt with a handkerchief embroidered with his dad’s handwriting.
With details wrapped up, we moved on to our girls getting ready and captured a few dramatic hairspray shots before Hannah jumped in her dress for a daddy-daughter and bridesmaid reveal. Both groups, including mom who helped her put on the dress, had tears of joy and excitement in their eyes for what was to come.
Originally we planned to also capture Hunt getting ready, but a little nervous he requested time alone to prepare for such a huge moment. In turn, we first met up with our groom for the day, who I might had looked as handsome as ever, to prepare him for their first look! A quick swap to move Hunt out of the President’s House and Hannah into the house so that they wouldn’t see one another was the perfect way to allow for Hannah to take the long walk up the sidewalk to Hunt. Hannah was just an absolute doll the entire day and her smile radiated even more than I thought it could when Hunt turned around to see her.
After their first look, we moved on to wedding party portraits before the ceremony. With a large wedding party, it was the perfect way to keep on time and allow for enough daylight for family and newlywed portraits after the ceremony and before sunset. Hunt’s close friend led their ceremony, which included a special candle lighting and prayer. After sharing their first kiss as husband and wife, we headed off to family and newlywed portraits, followed by their reception.
Black tie formal was the dress for their wedding, which was the perfect compliment to their dramatic glass room reception and elegant white floral arrangements. A live band kept everyone on their feet dancing all night! Hunt surprised his guests by bringing up his friends to play a two little numbers for Hannah while the band took a break. Completely unexpected, it was the perfect end to a perfect day!
Wishing my darlings a magical time on their Disney cruise and amazing life together!
