Brittany and Matthew met me out in downtown St Pete for a botanical garden engagement session. Scoping out the area before, we had been planning their session for some time and I couldn’t wait to finally meet my sweethearts in person.
Having met over eight years ago at work, the two reflect back now about how they mutually felt it was one of the worst jobs they had both ever had, but the best in the opportunity for having found one another. Working up the courage to talk to Brittany, Matthew stopped by her desk one day to ask her out on a date. Eight years later, they would never have imagined where life would have taken them.
Matthew fell in love with the way Brittany supports and encourages him, from laughing at his jokes to always having faith in his abilities. Standing by his side, Brittany has been his biggest advocate, best friend, and of course car buddy for singing off-key rap songs together. Matthew’s mind is truly what Brittany loves most from the way he always knows what to say to his mannerism in respecting those around him. As she explains, I have truly met my soul mate.”
Planning together a trip to California to visit local vineyards and explore the state, Brittany would never have guessed that Matthew had planned one more item for their checklist on his own. Road tripping through wine country, Matthew took Brittany on a day tour to several vineyards in Temecula, California. Their first stop of the day was at the Callaway Vineyards and Winery. Overlooking a manicured garden, the two decided to take a detour after their wine tasting to explore the area. Touring the gardens, they stumbled upon a wedding being set up. Turning to Matthew to tell him how beautiful it was, she found him on one knee holding up an engagement ring box and asked for her hand in marriage. Of course, Brittany said, “yes!”
Looking forward to capturing my sweethearts tie the knot at The Palmetto at FishHawk Ranch in Lithia, Florida this August!
