Kicking off her soon to be wedding day, Cierra celebrated with her girls at her bridal shower in Orlando at The Acre. The venue’s gorgeous natural light, combined with Heather’s, Cierra’s bridesmaid, natural inspiration for planning created a beautiful pastel pink shower filled with floral.

About The Bride to Be

Cierra met her beau, and now fiancé, Greg almost ten years ago back in 2007 through a mutual friend. The two were attending a party at their friend’s place when they laid eyes on one another. Hitting it off, they became instantly inseparable!

Now fast forward almost ten years later, and Cierra and Greg have two little ones, Savannah who is five and Liam who is one. As their family has grown, so has their love for one another. Proposing to Cierra back in 2015 on Christmas Day, she explained to me that she put “out into the universe” that 2015 was going to be her year and the year she would be proposed too. Sure enough, Greg sealed the deal and of course Ceirra said, “yes!”

Bridal Shower

Heather, Cierra’s dear friend and bridesmaid, helped plan her bridal shower, along with the help of Laura, a wedding coordinator, from Pearl White Events. Cierra highly recommended having a coordinator help out with planning and set up, as it takes a lot of the stress off of your bridal party’s shoulders.

I loved all of the inspiration that Heather drew upon to create a beautiful pastel pink and floral shower. Two games were played during the shower. The first, an adorable scratch off to find who lucked out with the groom’s face – Cierra’s daughter and MOH, Savannah, was the lucky winner. The second, a questionnaire to find out who know’s Greg and Cierra the best – from bucket list questions to favorite foods, everyone was cracking up the entire time when finding out the answers – also quite a bit of debate about our newlyweds first kiss location.

While games, brunch, and fun photos with friends capsulated the day, my favorite moment was time with our newlyweds and their family. There is just something so special about capturing a family when you can feel how much love they have for one another.
