Sunrise Engagement at Mead Gardens
Sunrise is one of my favorite times of day, and perfect for a morning engagement session at Mead Gardens. My sweethearts, Noemi and Jacob, along with their pup Mei in tow – were such a blast to capture!
How They Met
July 20th of 2017 – the official day Noemi and Jacob first met. Jacob at the time was working at a local tattoo shop as the front desk manager when Noemi came in for her appointment. Chit chatting with her tattoo artist and Jacob during her time there, she asked if either knew of any good spots to live, as she was new to the area. As it just so happens, Jacob’s roommate had recently moved out so he offered for her to check out his place.
Hitting it off after seeing his place, Noemi moved in two weeks later. Continuing to hit it off, they realized how much they had in common and their clear, undeniable attraction. Not too long after, they began dating and have been inseparable ever since.
What They Love Most
Jacob fell in love with how nurturing Noemi is, from the way she cares about him whenever he is sick – nursing him back to health – to how she nurtures their family unit with her love. For Noemi, while Jacob is incredibly caring as well, it is his humor that she loves most. As she explains, “no matter how angry or upset I am at the world and life is seemingly falling apart, he can always make me laugh and smile.” Having that special someone to come home to everyday and seeing their smile, truly will turn a gloomy day into a beautiful ray of light.
The Proposal
From the moment they met, the two felt a connection – that same ray of light that has carried through day after day. Realizing that they had found the one, the two purchased rings and in their living room Jacob proposed to Noemi – of course with their pup Mei to witness. Then on May 20th of this year, Noemi and Jacob made it official at their local courthouse. While as Noemi explains that it wasn’t a “grand proposal,” it was the perfect proposal because they knew that they had found the one and that was all that mattered.
Officially married, the two plan on celebrating their marriage with a beautiful wedding filled with the love of their friends and family. Looking forward to capturing our darlings at Up the Creek Farms in Malabar this coming May!
