Paige and Dominic tied the knot during their Bakers Ranch wedding in Parrish, Florida. Envisioning a day filled with romance, the two shared their vows under a picturesque backdrop of Florida foliage and towering trees, along with a stunning ballroom reception.

Love Found on the Hockey Rink

Now, if you know Paige and Dominic, you know how OBSESSED they are with hockey – specifically the Tampa Bay Lightning. An avid hockey player himself, Paige and Dominic met at one of his hockey games through their mutual two best friends. While watching number 18 play, Paige knew that one day he would be her husband, and not long after seeing Paige for the first time, Dominic felt the same. It was truly love at first sight.

What They Love Most

From the moment they met off the ice, Dominic and Paige hit it off. Falling in love with how beautiful Paige is of a person inside and out, Dominic explains that “I wake up every day knowing I am the luckiest guy in the world. For Paige, Dominic’s dedication to their love has truly help build the foundation for their relationship to build upon. No matter what it is, big or small actions of love like opening the car door or bringing home flowers just because, Dominic takes the time to think of Paige everyday and strives to bring a smile to her face. As Paige sweetly describes how he makes her feel, “I love that after all this time he still manages to make me weak in the knees and butterflies in my stomach.”

Tampa Bay Lightning Proposal

Almost two years to the day (just a few weeks away!) Dominic and Paige will be celebrating their two year proposal. Reflecting back on the day he proposed, the two were in the Amalie Arena in Tampa on November 23rd of 2016 for the TBL verses Philadelphia Flyers game. During the first intermission, the two headed up to the party deck to meet up with friends. Looking at the perfect view of the Tampa skyline, Dominic asked Paige to take a picture with him. The next thing she knew, he was down on one knee and said to her, “Paige Montgomery, will you marry me?” And of course, she said, “yes!” By the way – TBL killed it that night and won the game 4 to 2 – clearly because Paige said yes!

Wedding Day at Bakers Ranch

Hockey of course played a part in their big day, just in a smaller amount with awesome socks worn by Dominic and a pin worn by Paige. Their wedding day was filled with so much love from the moment we arrived.

Arriving a bit early, we were greeted with the biggest smile as Paige walked out from the bridal suite. With her girls finished up, and only makeup left for Paige and mom, we started on Paige’s details. Dominic was still in transport, which allowed for a few extra add-ins to be captured including the sweetest moments of a daddy-daughter first look and Paige giving her mom a gift, which literally brought everyone to tears watching mom shed her own tears as well.

Once Dominic arrived, we headed up to the groom’s loft to capture him and his guys suiting up and a few fun shots at the pool table inside the room. Silly glasses, the guys played it cool for a few portraits as well.

With lining up for the ceremony about to begin, we headed outside to prepare for the procession. Andy LePage, our sweetheart’s officiant, did a beautiful job at capturing the meaning of love and how the coming together of two souls is now and forever. Three family speakers also discussed the meaning of love. Once vows were shared and “I do’s” said, the two were officially Mr. and Mrs.!

Circling back to the beautiful light at their ceremony site, we captured formal portraits with their family and bridal party. Venturing around the property for newlywed portraits, key areas to the side of the ceremony with the sun peaking through, hidden forest, and vine covered swing were utilized as the backdrop for my gorgeous couple’s photos. Time felt like it flew by during those fleeting moments and before long we headed inside to prepare for their reception entrance.

Formal dances, followed by dinner, and more dancing filled the night. One of the silliest moments came from when the DJ played “baby shark” and the kiddos literally rushed to the dance floor! A sparkler send off ended the night as we hugged our couple one last time goodbye.
