Orlando Holiday Portraits
With the holiday season upon us, we have been privileged to capture so many beautiful family portraits. The Rocheford family has made it an annual tradition to meet me out and about for some adorable pictures of their little ones Graham and Reese, along with mommy Stacia and daddy Chad.
Family Traditions
Staying at home for the holidays has become the Rocheford’s family tradition. In the past, they would trek throughout the US visiting family in other states, but with little ones have found it to be easier to host instead. As Chad explains, “we just enjoy being home and being with each other.”
In addition to their tradition of celebrating the holidays in their home, they also like to have family time with jus the four of them opening presents on Christmas morning before extended family arrive. Cooking a turkey feast for those visiting and relaxing with cocktails on a boat ride along Lake Conway is always a must too!
Taking Pictures with Little Ones
I must say that the Rocheford’s family portraits are always so amazing – Graham and Reese warm up to the camera right away, and Stacia and Chad help keep a go with the flow vibe so their little ones last the whole session. When planning for their session, Stacia explained that “planning photos with little ones is never easy, and we’re all so busy, so my only advice is DON’T PROCRASTINATE! Schedule your photos early so you’re not rushing to order and mail your cards right before Christmas. The holidays are stressful enough as it is. Give yourself plenty of time to get it done.”
A big thank you to my sweet family for having me capture so many of their memories, from holiday portraits to baby Graham’s arrival, it has been amazing to be a small part in such big moments.
