Orlando Elopement at The Acre

Amy and Brian tied the knot during their Orlando elopement at The Acre. Falling in love with the vibe of the venue, my couple planned their destination wedding with family in mind to also make it a vacation.

How it All Began

Allison, Amy’s daughter, decided that her mom needed to jump into the dating game by creating a Match profile for her. Obliging to her daughter’s recommendation, she ended up connecting on the app with Brian and on July 15th of 2015 the two met up at Starbucks. Ironically enough, during their first date, Brie, Brian’s daughter, happened to be ordering through the drive-thru and witnessed the moment their love began. It must have been fate all along that their families were involved from the very beginning.

Falling in love with Brian’s wit, charm, and smile, what Amy loves most is his “love for family.” For Brian, he fell in love with Amy’s sweet spirit, fierce loyalty, and deep love for family as well.

A Southern California Proposal

Planning a trip to Southern California for a mini-getaway, the two booked a stay at the Kimpton Hotel located at the pier in Huntington Beach. All along, Amy thought the trip was just an opportunity to get away for a bit to enjoy the beach, but little did she realize Brian had planned the whole trip out to propose to her. Casually during a bike ride on the beach, Brian asked to go to a “cool shopping area in Newport” and on the way detoured to checking out the beach. Wandering upon the secluded beach, the two happened to meet another couple, which Brian asked if they could take their picture. While Amy was looking at the crashing waves, Brian dropped to his knee to propose. Turning back to Brian, Amy gasped in complete shock while Brian became a little chocked up barely getting the words out. Of course he did though and of course Amy said, “yes!”

Wedding Day at The Acre

Their Orlando elopement at The Acre was truly perfect! Tying the knot among their children, and celebrating out to eat afterwards in Downtown Winter Park, the day truly could not have been more beautiful!
