Alex and Vincent tied the knot during their Crescent Oaks wedding in Tarpon Springs, Florida near Tampa. Envisioning a day filled with the love of their friends and family, the two couldn’t wait to officially tie the knot!

A Second Chance Date

As luck may have it, Alex and Vincent’s story began online by chance through meeting on Bumble. Speaking for a few days online, Vincent asked to take it offline for an in-person first date. While the gesture was sweet, the scary movie he took Alex too was not so much – which was later a fun event to laugh at that Alex still gave him a second chance date.

As their relationship grew, Vincent knew he had found the one and planned out this proposal to Alex. Taking her out for a fun night on the town, they started their date with dinner and drinks afterwards at their favorite bar Lucky’s. Crowded inside, Vincent took Alex outside so it would be just the two of them and proposed to her right there and then. Of course, Alex said, “yes!”

Wedding Day at Crescent Oaks Golf Club

Flash forward a year on the second year anniversary of their first date, the two tied the knot at beautiful Crescent Oaks Golf Club. Arriving a bit early, we started off capturing our bride getting ready with her girls in the bridal suite, along with capturing beautiful details. Alex’s perfume bottle was definitely my fav detail that she had lovingly and thoughtfully purchased to wear on her wedding day.

While our girls were changing, we hopped on over to Vincent and his guys in the locker room after they had just arrived to grab them suiting up. With time to spare, we also took our groom’s party outside for their formal portraits. Such a crucial move in the timeline of the day, as it allowed for more newlywed time to go on an adventure around the expansive Crescent Oaks Golf Club golf course.

Making our way back to our girls, and allowing time for our guys to cool down from the Florida Fall heat, we captured Alex putting on her dress. One of my favorite moment’s during our bride’s getting ready time was an impromptu father-daughter look that we arranged having time to spare before their ceremony began. Holding back the tears was hard for Alex’s dad, and the moment was so incredibly special!

Outside under the covered veranda, guests began to arrive and get seated for the ceremony to begin. An emotional walk down the aisle as Vincent and Alex laid eyes on one another for the first time was incredible to capture. With so many beautiful moments, our favorite was definitely the excitement the two shared right after they sealed the deal by sharing a first kiss and throwing their arms in the air with the biggest smiles.

Formals with our sweetheart’s families and bridal party as a whole also took place on the veranda and afterwards we headed outside to the course for our bride’s party portraits as well. Having knocked out the guys earlier, we released them to have fun at cocktail hour while our girls stayed behind to share a moment with Alex. Of course out of all the beautiful moments throughout the day, newlywed portraits are always our absolute top favorite, which followed our bride’s party portraits.

Venturing around the golf course, we stopped off at many beautiful spots from an open field, to the iconic wooden bride, and finally mossy oak trees lined against the water. The light radiated from above and felt magical as it came down on our couple.

Back inside the ballroom, guests were anxiously awaiting the reception entrance to begin. Formal dances, followed by toasts, mingling, and a sharing a sweet treat opened up the dance floor. Of course we just had to take our couple out for a few fun nighttime shots in front of their venue before the night ended too!
