Lakeside Ranches Wedding
Donna and Josh tied the knot during their Lakeside Ranches wedding in Inverness, Florida. Envisioning a rustic elegant vibe with a pastel color scheme, the two created a magical backdrop for their big day.
While Donna and Josh knew of one another as kids, they didn’t become friends until later on in life when being reintroduced through Josh’s best friend Justin and Donna’s sister Mel. Donna didn’t know it at the time, but as soon as Josh had laid eyes on her he was completely smitten. Donna’s warmth and vibrant aura captivated him, along with her beauty. A few years into their newly invigorated friendship, the two began dating after realizing the feelings they had for one another were mutual. Of course their love grew and Josh proposed to Donna not long after during a trip to the Netherlands while visiting Donna’s family.
Wedding Day at Lakeside Ranches
Flash forward to their wedding day, the two were absolutely over the moon to finally become Mrs. and Mr. Arriving a bit early, we were excited to find hair and makeup almost complete for our girls and dove right into detail shots as Donna was last up. With the room set as well, it was easy to flow from detail shots to room shots, which was helpful since later on cocktail hour would be taking place inside. Jumping back and forth between our bride and groom, we captured our bride’s getting ready photos of her girls in their robes, before heading to the guys to capture them suiting up and formal portraits, and finally back to Donna for her getting in her dress. With guests arriving early, we decided to capture our bride’s party portraits after the ceremony to not risk Donna being seen.
Lakeside Ranches Wedding Ceremony
Pulling up in a vintage car, Donna captivated guests as she walked through the rustic doors to see Josh for the first time. Holding back the tears, Josh was so excited to see her and you could just feel the emotion and love between them radiating. A braided cross tying, followed by vows and a ring exchange, along with a first kiss sealed the deal as they officially began their forever together.
Formal portraits with family and Donna’s bride’s party took place at the beautiful ceremony site overlooking the lake, followed by bridal party portraits alongside the water. As the sun began to set, we had the most amazing orange and pink sunset behind our couple. With reception entrances about to begin, we headed back inside to prepare for introductions.
Lakeside Ranches Wedding Reception
Dancing and dining filled the night as our couple mingled and enjoyed their time with their guests. Experimenting with painting of light, we took Donna and Josh outside for a sparkler shot. A confetti popper last dance before a sparkler send off ended an incredible day with an incredible couple.
