Winter Park Engagement
Early morning engagement sessions, to be the crowds, are such a blast. Meeting Alexandra and Alan out in the downtown area, we loved exploring and chasing the sunrise light that came through the trees and buildings.
Alexandra and Alan first met during a class at UCF when they spoke briefly with one another. However, it wasn’t until a year later when they crossed paths again while living in the same apartment complex that a friendship ensured. A few months later in January of 2018, the two arrived back to campus from winter break, which was when they had their first official date.
Falling in love with Alan’s sense of adventure, Alex explained that they “love traveling together and growing along side” Alan. For Alan, he explained that Alex “accepts me for who I am, and makes me want to be a better person.” Not afraid of failure with Alex by his side because of how much she believes in him, the two have truly found their forever.
Just a few months and one year later from their first date, Alan proposed to Alex on March 23rd of 2019 in Downtown Orlando. Spending the morning at an annual brunch festival, United We Brunch, at the Orchid Ballroom, the two enjoyed a fabulous breakfast followed by a walk around Lake Eola. About half way through their walk, Alan stopped Alex, got down on one knee, and took out the ring from his pocket. Completely surprised, shocked, excited, and totally in love, Alex of course said, “yes!” Calling their families when they arrived back home, the two celebrated that evening as well with dinner at Ethos Vegan Kitchen in Winter Park.
I am so incredibly excited to capture Alex and Alan’s big day coming up in November at the Highland Manor. Of course, my couple is just as excited for their big day and lovingly shared that “being engaged feels just like when we were dating, but we’re so grateful and so much happier now that we get to see each other every day. We can’t wait until we get to be husband and wife and for all of the adventures to come.”
