Victoria and Gus celebrated their special day at the stunning Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate in Orlando, Florida. Their ceremony was followed by newly wed portraits with the hotel’s beautiful scenery in the background. After the happy couple was photographed, they had dinner and dancing in one of the resort’s expansive ballrooms. The night ended with the couple’s friends and family sending them off with sparklers.
The Proposal
Gus proposed on October 2, 2020. At the start of the day, Gus woke Victoria up to watch the sunrise in Daytona Beach, and continued to make a day full of surprises. As the day went on he informed her that they were taking another road trip, this time to the West Coast, specifically in Tampa, to watch the sunset. They had always talked about doing a coast to coast, sunrise to sunset, adventure so this just made the day so much more special. When the couple got to the secret location that Gus had chosen, they had a short walk on a boardwalk at sunset that led to a beautiful gazebo right on the bay. Gus got down on one knee, gave a very heartfelt speech, and popped the question! The rest of the night was spent taking pictures, informing family and friends, and staying at a lovely hotel.
Wedding Day Vision
Victoria and Gus pictured their wedding to have a traditional theme with white linens, candles, and tables with floral arrangements. Subtle quartz colors were found in the floral arrangements, the bridesmaid dresses and the groomsmen bow ties.
