The Proposal
We got engaged on Christmas Day 2019. We were living in our second house together and it was Christmas morning. We were opening stockings, and I knew I had put some things in Austin’s stocking. After Austin opened the gifts in his stocking, Austin then asked me if I was sure there was not anything in my stocking. I went to check my stocking and there was a ring box in the stocking. I turned around and Austin was down on one knee in our living room with the engagement ring! We then went to my parents for Christmas lunch and his parents for Christmas dinner. We celebrated that day! We had to postpone our wedding for so long due to COVID and we are so happy to finally get married!!
