Ashley and Patrick’s wedding at the Ever After Farms Blueberry Farm was a stunning blend of elegance, color, and faith. The chapel was adorned with soft pink accents, complementing the beautifully mismatched bridesmaid dresses, each touch thoughtfully crafted for their big day. Filled with heartfelt moments, from prayers over the bride and groom to communion during the ceremony and a beautiful foot-washing at the reception, their day was a testament to their shared love of God. They even stole away for intimate portraits under the chapel lights after dark, making the entire day feel like pure perfection.
The Proposal
We got engaged on March 18th 2023 in Boca Raton! My best friend flew in from North Carolina for the whole weekend and we stayed at a super nice resort in West Palm Beach and just got to really talk through being engaged and spend some time together before then. My fiancé and I had both been praying about when we felt like the Lord was leading us to get engaged, and separately we both heard March, and knew it was going to be exactly three months from the date we started dating.
I had just had surgery the week before (so I wasn’t able to walk) so him and his family made this chariot that they carried me to the proposal site in draped with roses and white lace – it was absolutely beautiful, a dream come true. He was waiting there with flowers and a handmade wooden arch that he had made the week before and wrote me a note about why he wants to spend his life with me and asked me to be his wife.
Wedding Day Vision
We want our Wedding Day to bring so much glory, honor, and praise to God because of what he has done in our relationship. Without him, none of this would be possible and we want to be able to celebrate our love, but also make this everlasting covenant in the presence of the Lord.
