Rachel and Michael’s wedding at the Sirata Beach Resort in St. Pete Beach, Florida was the perfect blend of joyful energy, heartfelt moments, and sun-soaked beauty. With vibrant pink accents woven throughout the day—especially in the bridesmaids’ dresses—the celebration felt as fun and radiant as the couple themselves. One of the most memorable pre-ceremony moments? The bride and her bridesmaids bonding over their shared love of Chick-fil-A, complete with laughter and cups in hand while getting ready. Their ceremony was as meaningful as it was beautiful, featuring a touching communion where Rachel and Michael broke bread with their loved ones. And to top it all off, the newlyweds enjoyed a breathtaking golden hour on the beach, with sunset portraits that captured the peace and joy of the day.
The Proposal
We got engaged on June 21, 2024, when we went on vacation in Canada. Mikey is the county emergency management director, and we experienced record breaking flooding in the county during our vacation. When we walked into our Airbnb, I was walking around and looking in the rooms, and Mikey got down on one knee and proposed and said that he didn’t know if the flooding would affect our vacation, so he wanted to make sure he was able to get the job done! And to what Mikey assumed, he spent most of the vacation working remotely.
Wedding Day Vision
The wedding day vision I have in mind is laid back and chill. I feel like I am not uptight and just want to enjoy the day and try to go with the flow!
