The Proposal
We got engaged in December of 2023. He’d always heard you should propose in a place that is special to us as a couple so he chose do it at home. We moved into our dream house which we’d built together in August of this year and it’s truly our favorite place on the planet.
We’d gotten all dressed up for a nice dinner at Charley’s Steakhouse and he got down on one knee right before we walked out the door. It was perfect: simple, intimate, and just the two of us. Which is exactly what I would have wanted.
