Janine and Michael’s wedding at the Sunken Gardens in St. Petersburg, Florida was nothing short of magical. Surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant blooms, their day felt like stepping into a storybook. Janine wore a beautifully whimsical gown that perfectly complemented the natural beauty around her, while Michael looked timeless in a white tux with black lapels. Their rich purple and blue florals added an elegant pop of color throughout the day, tying in beautifully with the bridesmaids’ matching dresses. From romantic portraits across the gardens to dreamy moments on the footbridge, every detail of their celebration felt vibrant, heartfelt, and unforgettable.
The Proposal
Michael proposed to Janine on his birthday in 2020. After a crazy pandemic year, we ended it on a high note with the engagement. We spent the day celebrating Michael’s birthday and hanging out in some of his favorite spots. He wanted to catch the sunset on the beach and was very adamant on a specific beach at a certain time. It turned out to be a proposal. It happened at Bean Point on Anna Maria Island right as the sun was setting. He proposed with a message in a bottle and captured the entire thing on a GoPro.
Wedding Day Vision
We would definitely like a combination of serious and fun, posed and candid. While there are some things that are vital to capture (first look, vows, rings, cake, etc.) we really want to remember the liveliness of our wedding. Candid shots of people having fun is how we want to remember our day. Most of our guests are friends and family from out of town, so we want to make our guests feel as important as we do on our day.
