Jacqueline and Philip’s December wedding at Ever After Farms Flower Venue near Tampa was the definition of Southern elegance. With a rich palette of burgundy and gold, their day was cozy, romantic, and beautifully reflective of the season. Jacquelline wore a stunning lace and tulle gown that flowed effortlessly as she shared an emotional first look with Philip beneath the oak trees draped in Spanish moss. Their ceremony took place beneath the venue’s iconic grand oak tree, where they exchanged vows in front of family and friends surrounded by the natural beauty of the Florida landscape. Afterward, the newlyweds wandered through blooming rows of wildflowers in shades of pink, gold, and yellow—the perfect backdrop as the sky turned golden with sunset. The celebration continued inside, but not before they snuck away for a magical set of nighttime portraits along the venue’s famous tree-lined dirt road, softly lit by thousands of twinkling string lights. It was the perfect ending to a day filled with warmth, beauty, and unforgettable moments.
The Proposal
We got engaged on Thanksgiving Day of 2021 at Disney Springs with our families present. Philip knew that he wanted to buy a ring from the ‘Enchanted’ Disney collection and had been searching online to find the perfect one for a while. He finally chose the one he wanted for me (the Cinderella ring) but had difficulty finding it in stores due to post-COVID stocking issues. After searching many stores, he was able to secure the ring a couple weeks before the engagement. He knew he wanted to propose to me at Thanksgiving since both of our families mean so much to us and he wanted them to be there. We also both love Thanksgiving and Disney so it was the perfect day to pop the question. I was happily shocked/ecstatic when he asked….I did not see it coming and I love that he kept it a secret because the end result paid off big time.
