Disney BoardWalk Engagement
MaryCaroline and Sahiba met me out at the Disney Boardwalk for their magical morning engagement. These two will be tying the knot this coming February at the beautiful Hyatt Regency in Clearwater.
It is crazy to think about how the internet has been a game changer when it comes to being able to meet someone. While in the past, it would be fate if you happen to walk by ‘the one,’ now you can find ‘the one’ just by opening an app and seeing how is nearby. MaryCaroline just happen to be passing by in town when she opened up a meetup app and found Sahiba. The two click instantly and decided to meet up at a local Starbucks. Love at first site, Sahiba knew that she “wanted to spend every day of my life drinking coffee with MaryCaroline.”
As a relationship grows, it is the fundamental ideals, life choices, and personality traits that we fall in love with when finding your other half. Reading Sahiba and MaryCaroline’s response to what they love most about one another could not be better put in any other way, so to quote my darlings… from Sahiba, “there aren’t enough words to describe what I love most about MaryCaroline. Undoubtedly, the thing I love most about her is how resilient she is. She has been through so much loss and tragedy in her young life and is still so strong and positive. She is my biggest critic and cheerleader. She never fails to amaze me. Every day, I love her more and I don’t think it is possible to love someone more. But every day, I am prove wrong. She is my best friend and my hero.” And from MaryCaroline, “I couldn’t pinpoint what I love the most about Sahiba even if I tried. She has this remarkable childlike happiness and adorable sense of humor. She is also very protective of the people she cares about. She has always believed in me, and continues to push me to be the best person I can be.”
Sahiba knew from the moment she met MaryCaroline that she had found the love of her life and planned out her proposal during their first vacation together to Orlando. On a cool breezy night during their vacation, Sahiba brought MaryCaroline to Rollins College where she had gone to school. Walking along Lake Virginia, which sits behind the campus, the two walked hand in hand under the towering laurel oaks on what felt like the most perfect night. Sahiba had always loved taking walks there and wanted to bring MaryCaroline to see one of her favorite spots in the area. Taking a seat by the lake, Sahiba sked for MaryCaroline’s hand in marriage, which she of course said “yes” too!
With so much excitement and their wedding less than a year away, I asked the two what their best piece of advice would be for other couples planning for their big day. The two stated perfectly to “make sure your wedding reflects your relationship. Do the things that you like and what will make you happy.” Truly I couldn’t not agree more!
