Sophia and Caitlin tied the knot during their White Oak Cottage wedding in Lithia, Florida. A gorgeous celebration of love, we were honored to capture their big day!
The Proposal
Caitlin proposed to me on December 27, 2018! She popped the question at one of my favorite places ever ICE at the Gaylord Palms resort and hotel. It this magical event they do every year around Christmas. My mother took me every year as a child and into my early adult years it is a very special place for me. My mother is no longer here but cait is sure to take me every year. Its our tradition now! She set everything up perfectly even got my besties to drive to Orlando to be there for our moment! i am the planner, the organizer, the bag packer etc. so i was very shocked she pulled all this off! but wait there’s more! she got a limo( which i have never been in and have always wanted to!) so after celebratory drinks in the lobby we all got dressed for a lovely dinner at Johnny’s steak house (another favvveeee for me!)oh yeah and thennnnnnn we got to spend the weekend visiting all the Disney parks! SHE LITERALLY PLANNED THE PERFECT PROPOSAL AND WEEKEND!
Wedding Day Vision
We want a leafy green wedding, we like the soft sage color of eucalyptus. Our other color is blush pink with rose gold accents. Its a mix of outdoor chic and glitz and glam. Caitlin loves beyonce so that will be a focus as far as music. We both want to be regarded as brides and even though Caitlin is wearing a tux, we dont want to bring in the dynamic of “whos the man in the relationship”. We want to keep the vibe light hearted and fun. We would love lots of candids of all of our friends and families interacting.
