Jennifer and Rollin tied the knot during their Alfond Inn wedding ceremony and after partied the day away at Casa Feliz for their wedding reception. A gorgeous day, filled with beautiful backdrops, it was such a treat to capture their special moment!
How They Met
We met in Fall 2014 while attending college in Daytona Beach, but were friends for years. We officially started dating in Spring 2016 and spent many weekends in Winter Park (where groom’s family lives). On our first official date, all of the restaurants ended up being closed. We got a pizza, went to the beach, and ate in the back of Rollin’s Jeep with the top down. The first time Rollin took me (Jennifer) to Winter Park, we had a picnic in the park with those old picnic basket. In June 2018 we moved to San Diego, CA!
The Proposal
I (Jennifer) flew to Florida to visit my grandparents while they were not doing too well in July 2019 (they are okay now). Rollin flew home and surprised me in the same park (on park ave) with the same picnic basket and blanket we used to take there. He was hiding behind a tree and I thought to myself “What is this crazy person doing?”. After he proposed, we had dinner with our family that was able to come.
Wedding Day Vision
We want our wedding to be relaxed and fun for everyone, most importantly we want to be ourselves. For colors we like/are going with burgundy, navy, sage green, teal. Our theme will just be the colors with the natural aesthetic of the venues.
