With flowers in bloom and cold weather approaching, it was the perfect time for a picturesque maternity session in the wildflower field at Baldwin Park. Situated in the heart of Orlando, Baldwin Park offers residents a beautiful place to live, work, and venture outdoors with its abundant amount of trails. Upon seeing the wildflowers during a previous session, I just knew it would be perfect for a maternity session due to the elegance, beauty, and natural grace that the flowers have to offer.
To parallel this beauty, I knew my dear friend who is both gorgeous inside and out would be the perfect mommy model to be. Christina, being an incredible friend, agreed to the wildflower shoot and met me out at the park one early morning. Our shoot started off among the long grass filed with hues of purple and pink. Christina tried out different poses for me from hand placement to an adorable laugh. After spending sometime in the field, we ventured over to the rock wall for some dramatic landscape shots.
While I loved both of these locations, it was the yellow wildflowers we came for. After the rock wall, we headed over to the dappled yellow flower meadow. Christina braved the bees buzzing around us, as she jumped into the middle of the field for some photos. I just love the blur of the yellow flowers against the lens as they flowed back and forth, while I focused on Christina.
