Baseball Inspired Engagement
Elizabeth and Corey met me out in the heart of Downtown Celebration for their gorgeous baseball inspired engagement session. Touches of blue, white, and the perfect red all came together with a few cute props of baseballs and Elizabeth’s ring.
High School Sweethearts
High school sweethearts, Elizabeth and Corey met through mutual friends while Elizabeth was a freshman and Corey was a junior. Friends for sometime after meeting, they realized that there was a deeper connection between the two of them, which was when they took their friendship to the next level. This November marked ten years together for the two!
Falling in love with how Corey can just be himself around Elizabeth, they have grown together as both individuals and a couple over the last ten years. Through this time, Elizabeth has been by Corey’s side through his hectic baseball travel schedule as a player and now coach. As Corey explains, “there are things that she loves to do, and there are things that I love to do, and at the end of the day we support each other and are always there when each other needs it.”
For Elizabeth, she fell in love with how Corey is how he cheers her on through the tough times and victories, no matter how little they may be. Elizabeth tends to be hard on herself and struggled a lot in high school when they first got together. Through this time, Corey was always the shoulder she could lean on and would drop what he was doing to help her. As Elizabeth explains, Corey “is just an amazing human and going to make the best husband and an even better father.”
A Proposal in the Big Apple
While visiting New York for Wrestlemania, which the two had attended for the past two years, Corey knew that he wanted to also propose. While Elizabeth had grown up in Jersey, Corey had never been to the big apple, so Elizabeth knew that she wanted to take him along for a touristy day, while Corey had an additional surprise in mind. Visiting Times Square, Central Park, Rockefeller Plaza, and ending the day at.a bbq joint in Hoboken, their night had almost come to an end. Taking a walk along the water after dinner, they stopped to take a few pictures of the stunning skyline of NYC against the night sky. As Elizabeth started to walk away, Corey pulled her back to him and proposed! As Elizabeth reminisces, the proposal “was perfect and I couldn’t have asked for anything better!”
Looking forward to our team capturing Elizabeth and Corey tie the knot next September at Highland Manor!
