Lillie and Danny had a stunning wedding at Bowling Oaks Plantation in Jacksonville, Florida. They enjoyed a wonderful ceremony, followed by dancing the night away with their loved ones. Congrats to these two!
The Proposal
We got engaged on July 31, 2021 in Atlanta at Centennial Park. It is my favorite park (besides theme parks). I was sad that it was closed for so long due to Covid and we couldn’t get into it the last time we were driving through Atlanta. We had a trip planned with my sister and brother in law and we were going to meet up with my cousins who live there. Danny flew in one of my best friends from Denver and said she was there for my birthday (August 5). That night, we got dressed and went to meet my cousins in the park to take birthday pictures. Two other friends surprised me in the park and had driven up to Atlanta from Jacksonville as well (they brought the ring with them). We took a few pictures and then in one, Danny got down on one knee and and asked me to marry him.
