Dawn and Jesse tied the knot among friends and family during their Center Place of Fine Arts wedding in Brandon, Florida. Rustic and beautiful, the two brought their vision to life through DIY decor and intimate moments.
How They Met
We met through a mutual friend. It took several attempts, but we finally met at the Daquari Deck on Siesta Key in 2016. We talked for hours and walked around Siesta Key. We bonded over our love for country music, dogs, and pizza! We have been inseparable ever since.
What They Love Most About One Another
Dawn loves how Jesse and her just click. It just feels right and is like nothing she has ever felt before. They are constantly making each other laugh. She loves his passion for everything. He is a very hard worker and dedicated to whatever he sets his mind to. He always knows how to make her smile after a rough day! Jesse thinks her smile is mesmerizing, and he fell in love with it instantly. She puts her whole heart into whatever she is doing and doesn’t hold anything back. She knows just how to pick him up whenever he is down. It may sound cliche, but he felt like it was love at first sight.
The Proposal
Dawn’s favorite time of year is Christmas and loves collecting personalized ornaments. It is a tradition that Dawn’s parents come over every year for Christmas Eve dinner and always exchange one present so Jesse thought this was the perfect time to ask her to marry him. After dinner, he decided it was time to give Dawn her gift to open. His heart was beating faster than ever before! Dawn started opening the box and inside was a personalized ornament that read “Will You Marry Me?” Jesse had placed it upside down on purpose so that when she turned the ornament around and read it, he would already be down on one knee with the ring in his hand. He asked her to marry him and she said Yes!
