Emily & Esteban’s Chapel Valley Farm Wedding – Captured by Whitney

We’re thrilled to showcase the beautiful wedding of Emily and Esteban at Chapel Valley Farms in Eustis, Florida. Their special day was adorned with accents of pink and sage green, exuding rustic charm and elegance at every turn. Join us as we capture the enchanting moments from their unforgettable celebration.

The Proposal

On March 20th, 2022, Emily and Esteban went to the Dade City Renaissance Festival with a couple of friends.  It was a really fun day with many performances, shops, costumes, and food.  As we were walking around, Esteban noticed this unique area within the festival called “the wedding spot” – it was a secluded garden area with an archway perfect for a proposal – but we walked past it when we saw it, and he put the idea in his head to come back there later in the day.  A few hours later, Emily’s friend asked if there was anything else we wanted to do or if we were ready to go home.  Funny story: Emily was ready to go home.  But of course, Esteban had other plans.  He told her, as a cover, that he wanted to go back to that garden area to take some photos with her since they hadn’t had their picture taken in a while.  She said she did not want to in these silly Renaissance outfits.  It should be noted that Emily typically loves taking photos, so you can imagine Esteban’s surprise when his plan didn’t go quite how he thought.  But!  Instead of leaving, Emily decided to stop at a fruit stand for a snack.  This was when Esteban decided to tell her friends his plan because he needed help getting Emily back to that garden area.  Luckily, everything ended up turning out exactly as he had hoped; he got down on one knee under the arch dressed as a king and asked her to be his queen forever.  She couldn’t even believe this was really happening and then laughed hysterically that she had wanted to go home!  Now, the million dollar question that everyone asked – did Esteban know “the wedding spot” would be at the festival? No, he did not!  And why the festival?  Is it something you both do a lot?  Still no!  All I really know is that Esteban held his king’s crown in his hand three days before and realized in that moment exactly what he wanted to say to her when he proposed.  He realized it was just time, and the Renaissance Festival happened to be the place.

Wedding Day Vision

Sage, soft pink/peach, and gold accents are the colors we have decided on.  I don’t really have a theme, but there will be memorable/nostalgic elements significant to our relationship throughout the reception mostly related to music that can be photographed.
