Club Lake Plantation Wedding
Taylor and Josh tied the knot during their Club Lake Plantation wedding in Apopka, Florida. Envisioning a romantic garden theme, the two picked a slate blue and grey to complement the natural foliage of the venue and chosen white floral.
High school sweethearts, Josh proposed to Taylor in Oregon at Ecola State Park. Falling in love with how Taylor looks at him, and Taylor falling in love with Josh’s honesty and caring heart came natural as they have built their relationship through the years.
Wedding Day at Club Lake Plantation
Ironically enough, Taylor and Josh’s big day was not the first time that I photographed them at a wedding. Their friends Sarah and Sawyer had tied the knot a few years back, and Taylor and Josh had always kept me in mind for when their big day came. I couldn’t have been more ecstatic when that day finally arrived!
Owners Randy and Carol are the visionaries for beautiful the beautiful Club Lake Plantation. A diverse garden, barn, ranch, the two created a dynamic range of areas for photos and a gorgeous backdrop for weddings. Taylor and Josh knew immediately when finding the venue that it was the perfect balance of elegance and a garden vibe.
Arriving a bit early to Club Lake Plantation, we were soon greeted by our bride Taylor and her girls. After capturing a few robe shots, our bride’s party changed into their dresses, while our bride and her mom did final touches of putting on the wedding gown. A bridesmaid reveal took place in the secret garden, right outside the bridal suite, where emotions of joy took over as Taylor’s girls saw her for the first time. After capturing our group’s formal portraits, we headed off to see our groom who had recently arrived as well with his party.
Josh and his guys were tucked away in the barn finishing up changing from their clothes to suits. A quick cheers in the barn, followed by suiting up and formal portraits outside made for a great time.
While capturing our couple’s getting ready, the Bella Sposa Team was wrapping up final touches on the ceremony site with In Bloom Florist. Back inside the reception space, Foodie Catering had arrived and was also putting on finishing touches of linens and table settings.
Club Lake Plantation Wedding Ceremony
Seeing Josh’s emotion as Taylor walk through the wooden doors as she entered the ceremony was an incredible moment to capture. Holding back the tears, he took her hand after sharing vows and a hug with Taylor’s dad. After rings were exchanged and “I dos” shared, Josh dipped Taylor for their first kiss, along with a send off kiss down the aisle afterwards.
Formal portraits of family and the bridal party as a whole also took place at the ceremony site before we ventured around the property chasing the golden light pouring in for newlywed photos.
Club Lake Plantation Wedding Reception
Back inside, guests were being seated in preparation for the arrival of our couple. Reception entrances, followed by dining, formal dances, and guest dancing filled the night. Our bride also requested a killer sparkler shot outside, and allowed for enough time to accommodate the more complex shot. Ending the night with a sparkler send off, we hugged our sweethearts goodbye.
