Danielle and Mason’s wedding at the Crowne Plaza Melbourne Beach Oceanfront was an intimate and heartfelt celebration with the perfect Florida backdrop. Though they call Michigan home, they chose a small ceremony on the patio overlooking the ocean to capture the beauty and warmth of a beachside wedding. Their day began with a touching first look on the balcony, setting a romantic tone before their vows. With the sound of waves and close loved ones nearby, their celebration was both personal and unforgettable.
The Proposal
He took me to a nearby park early one morning, where we have gone to for dates in the past. He had a blanket set up overlooking the lake with a dozen roses and pastries. He had me close my eyes on the way there so I wouldn’t know where we were going, so when I opened my eyes I saw the foggy lake with him down on one knee. He has a family member there to take pictures of the moment as well.
Wedding Day Vision
We want to have a small, and intimate wedding with our closest friends and family surrounding us. We wanted to get away from some of the traditional expectations of a wedding, which is why we chose to get married in Florida, instead of our hometown in Michigan.
