Nangellie and Dan met me out in downtown St. Petersburg for their engagement at North Straub Park along the boutique walkway of shops and restaurants, along with the gorgeous waterside.
Working along side one another, it wasn’t long before Dan asked Nangellie out on their first official date. Dinner at 400 Beach and a fun Star Trek movie after was the perfect start to their relationship, as they realized how much they love being around one another. Of course, many more dates soon followed!
As time went by, the two could not imagine life without one another. Nangellie fell in love with how sweet Dan is and his willingness to help others. For Dan, he fell in love with how supportive Nangellie is in their relationship, and of course her absolutely amazing cooking!
Taking a little holiday away from work and their day to day responsibilities, the two traveled via cruise boat to Jamaica. It was their first cruise together and absolutely magical. After a nice dinner, Dan pulled Nangellie aside for a walk to one of the quietest areas on the boat where he proposed. As Nangellie reminisces, “it was romantically private and special.”
Mom and dad truly know best, and for Nangellie and Dan, they took to her Nangellie’s words of wisdom from her parents. As she explains, “my parents advised us that communication will be key and our advice to others is to communicate.”
