Kristen & Ian's Dubsdread Ballroom Wedding

Kristen and Ian tied the knot during their Dubsdread wedding in Orlando, Florida. Envisioning a fun, casual day, the two shared their special moment with their closest friends and family.

Having met out in Downtown Orlando during a night out with their friends, Ian and Kristen exchanged numbers in hopes to get to know one another better. Calling Kristen two days later, and singing “Sorry” by Justin Bieber, per Kristen’s request, she knew Ian was the one – he was willing to do whatever it took to make her laugh and smile since the moment they met.

Engaged at Lake Lily Park, Ian proposed while on a walk with their pup Stella. It was the perfect moment between the two, and of course Stella, and as a surprise both of their parents were waiting back at their apartment to greet them with love!

Fast forward to 2020, my couple’s wedding day was nothing short of amazing. Arriving early, I was greeted by Kristen and her girls wrapping up hair and makeup. I must say that by far, Kristen ranks number one on my favorite pre-wedding dress attire – onesies! Definitely a first, I love that she had each of her girls’ names embroidered on their onesie – seriously the cutest ever!

Ian was also getting ready at the Boheme, so while the girls were changing into their dresses, I headed to his room to grab him suiting up and a toasting with his best man. Back in Kristen’s room, we moved quickly in putting on the dress and a fun impromptu add-in moment of a bride’s party dress reveal. Before long, the transportation arrived and we headed out to the gorgeous Dubsdread Ballroom.

Capturing each parties portraits individually beforehand, we also added in a father daughter first look before guests arrived. Our ceremony was filled with love and laughter, and of course a first kiss sealing the deal.

Gorgeous light flowing in all around us made for a perfect backdrop no matter what way we were standing for newlywed portraits. After having newlywed time, my couple joined their guests during cocktail hour to mingle. Reception entrances, followed by formal dances, and a fun night of dancing made for a gorgeous evening!
