Lauren and Brian’s sunrise engagement at Kraft Azlaea with their pup Lola was the perfect way to celebrate their recent engagement and upcoming wedding in May. As the golden light of the morning sun beamed down on the two (well three!), it was clear as day from the start that I knew their session would be one for the books!
Their relationship began gradually when they met each at work, Florida Hospital, in the operating room. The two became friends over the next several months, which turned into dates dappled on the calendar here and there. However their friendship move to the ‘next step’ when the two work up early on November 10 of 2015 to watch the sunrise and realized they were ready to make it “official.” Now deemed as “Super Tuesday,” it was a super start to the beginning of their forever.
Brian’s heart, as Lauren explains, is relentless from his “caring attitude at work” to the “love that outpours” to others. As Lauren describes what she loves most about Brian, “his love is unwavering and his gracefulness in trying situations is inspiring. He is truly my better half.”
For Brian, it is how Lauren is an overall beautiful person. Her ability to love him and her loyalty to their relationship has been an instrumental part in the building of their foundation to grow upon. Of course, Lauren is also his “partner in crime” through her willingness to always try new adventures.
While both love their careers, a vacation here and there is always needed as a way to relax and come back to the emotion of their job. The two decided to take time off in April for a Spring snowboarding adventure in Banff, Canada. While relaxing and enjoying a little adventurous snowboarding was a part of both of their plans, Brian also had a special surprise. Planning on hitting the slopes during the second day of their vacation, the two spent the first going for a beautiful hike at Johnston Canyon. Admiring the sheer massive beauty of landscape, the two continued to adventure to a frozen waterfall – truly the perfect picture spot. Waiting their turn for other couples to have a picture, Brian asked a nearby adventure seeker if they could take a picture of him and Lauren. Completely unexpected, and I must say a well-kept secret, Brian bent down on one knee and asked for Lauren’s hand in marriage. Of course Lauren said “yes!”
Their story goes beyond just the two of them includes one more ‘furry’ family member. Little Lola was adopted in January of 2015 by Lauren who has since also become Brian’s pup as well. Her “sweet, old soul” as Lauren describes it, is the perfect balance for their family. With no background story to go on, Lauren took a chance on one of the best decisions she has made (along with saying “yes” to Brian!) by adoption little Lola. From the way she wags her tail when she is excited to go for a walk to keeping the couch warm, Lola enjoys being loved and as luck may have it, found her forever home.
Looking forward to capturing these two tie the knot at the beautiful Islesworth Golf and Country Club this coming May!
