Enter a world of blooming romance as we celebrate the enchanting wedding of Laura and William at the Ever After Farms Flower Barn Wedding Venue in Seffner, Florida. Amidst the vibrant hues of the flower farm, their day unfolded with whimsical and boho-inspired decor, creating a magical ambiance that mirrored the natural beauty of their surroundings, weaving together a tale of love as timeless as the petals that adorned their path.
How They Met
Will and Laura met during the first week of the freshman year of college at Florida Gulf Coast University, when Will brought his bungee chair all the way to her dorm’s common room for a movie night (the debate between them never stops if this was a weird move or not!). Will soon realized that his “Palm City Princess” had grown up only 20 minutes south of him. They became fast friends, spending most evenings together in a group filled with lots of laughter, fishing adventures, and late-night card games. After a first date at Six Mile Cypress Preserve, they started dating and fell in love right away. Almost seven years together have only deepened their love, with countless nature adventures, three new apartments, three graduations, two hurricanes, one heart surgery, one endless pandemic, and one spunky cat named Frankie.
What They Love About Each Other
Nature Man and Couch Girl get to take on the world together, as park ranger and clinical mental health counselor. We both love and support each other’s passions, learning about different parts of life, one weekend trip at a time. Laura has become a nature girl (she isn’t going into waist-deep swamp water, however) and Will now has obscure knowledge of 18th century colonial American history. They are both very chill and mellow people, and they love to be silly at all possible times. Their big orange cat Frankie is a witness to a home with big silly love.
The Proposal
They got engaged at the same spot as their first date, on the bench where they talked for a long time about life, at a beautiful and meaningful place called Six Mile Cypress Preserve in Fort Myers. He proposed only a few days before hurricane Ian! There were lots of happy tears!
Wedding Day Vision
Lots of flowers, as the venue is a flower farm. Warm and filled with love and happiness. Whimsical and boho decor.
