Katherine and Jordan had a beautiful wedding at the Ever After Farms Peach Wedding Barn in Mims, Florida. They had a wonderful celebration surrounded by all their loved ones. Congrats to the happy couple!
The Proposal
I was pretty much ready to be engaged a year into the relationship lol we got engaged at Gaylord Palms resort in Orlando, FL on Christmas Day at about 9pm in front of the giant Christmas tree display.
We were there for a family vacation with Jordan’s dad, dad’s wife and younger brother. Everyone knew what was going to happen except me. We spent Christmas Eve at Disney springs, Jordan and I even got into an argument and spent most of that night being upset at each other. We exchanged Christmas gifts the next morning and I rarely ever get upset at gifts but he got me a pair of sweatpants (which I never ever wear) and I was very outwardly expressing how upset I was. Which made me feel like a horrible person and I cried all morning about how I acted so selfishly. We made up and later went to the Christmas party the resort throws. We were all dressed in matching Buffalo plaid shirts and were racing down the ice slide and having the best time. We then made our way back to the main atrium for a family picture (or so I thought) and I had not a thought in my mind of a proposal. Jordan and I were dancing, passing the time by while we waited for his family to set up where we were going to take the picture and in the middle of dancing he dropped down on one knee and pulled out the ring. My mind blackout honestly. Immediate tears! I had to come back to reality and between sobs said yes and we celebrated from there! Best Christmas ever!
