Alaina and John’s wedding day was the perfect blend of timeless tradition and coastal elegance. They began their beautiful celebration with a heartfelt ceremony at Saint Peter Catholic Church, surrounded by family and friends. After a few meaningful portraits at the church, the celebration continued at The Flagler of Stuart in Jupiter, Florida. There, the newlyweds and their wedding party took stunning portraits, with golden sunlight washing over the dock and soft hues glowing beneath the causeway. As the sun set, they made their way inside for an unforgettable evening of dancing, laughter, and celebration. It was a day filled with love, light, and unforgettable memories.
The Proposal
We got engaged at Jupiter Inlet watching the sunset near Dubois Park surrounded by my family and closest friends. My friends were hiding in a bush leading up to this moment. During the day I got pampered and got my nails done and then at 5:00 p.m. we met my parents at the Jupiter Inlet, and we were walking towards the boardwalk. As the sun was setting, John got down on 1 knee and proposed. My friends popped out of a bush, and a homeless man was playing “Marry You” by Bruno Mars while other people gathered around and clapped. We then hugged/kissed and popped a bottle of champagne, while the sunset began to fade away.
Wedding Day Vision
My wedding vision is a mix of both stylized and posed shoots but also candid/spontaneous photography—photos that touch your soul, lift your spirits, and embraces all those moments in between. I would like for this day to be unforgettable and exciting!
