The Proposal
David: I had planned a dinner out where we would walk down by the Pier in St. Pete where I would surprise her with a picnic and champagne. I was going to pop the question overlooking where we first met in an intimate atmosphere. Unfortunately, the weather had different plans because this was the exact day that Hurricane Ian hit. After the storm passed, we were walking along the water surveying the damage where we both were surprised by how nice out it felt (No humidity!). In that moment I decided I would not let this opportunity miss, so I surprised Rachael with a private sunset boat tour that weekend. Once we were out in the bay and the sun was setting below the horizon, I knelt down and popped the question. She said yes (very quickly Haha) and the rest is history! Champagne was flowing on the way back to the dock and it could not have gone better.
Wedding Day Vision
We’d like the day to feel intimate and sweet. We’re so happy to get married and start our lives together, and we’re so thrilled we’ll be able to spend real time with each of our guests. Our colors are vibrant green and cream/white with metallic gold accents. It’s also taking place in a garden, so we hope that sense of being in a fresh, outdoor environment would be reflected.
