Lightner Museum Engagement
Downtown St Augustine set the stage for Melissa and Luiz Lightner Museum engagement. While it might have been a windy day, the two brought so much warmth to each image through their smiles and love for one another!
How They Met
We actually met in middle school! We really became friends in high school, we were best friends throughout that time. We’ve been inseparable ever since!
What They Love Most About One Another
Melissa about Luis: I love how he has the silliest sense of humor, we are always laughing about the craziest things and there’s never a dull moment. He has this ability to be friends with anybody that I so admire! And I especially love how he knows how to comfort me during crazy times.
Luis about Melissa: I love that she really listens when I talk. She always figures out how I really feel and knows what I’m trying to say. She always encourages me to speak up for myself and to be the best person I can be. And I “guess” she’s funny LOL.
The Proposal
Luis proposed at Memorial Park in Jacksonville, FL on February 24, 2019. We were on our way to meet some friends at an event downtown but he said he needed to make a stop before we got there. After I had a moment to process what happened I said “Obviously” LOL.
