Kelly and Boris tied the knot during their Magnolia Manor wedding in Vero Beach, Florida. Captured by Whitney, the two envisioned a day filled with soft touches of pastels, a ceremony under towering oaks, and a lively reception.

How They Met

Boris and I met at Hobe Sound Elementary school in our second grade class. Our teacher was Ms. Gordon. We have been friends ever since!

What They Love Most

I love how much Boris cares about our future- he only wants the best for the both of us. I also love how dedicated he is to everything he does. I love how trustworthy, patient, and kind Boris is. I couldn’t ask for anything more in a husband!

I love that Kelly puts up with me. I love how strong and driven Kelly is.

The Proposal

The proposal was perfect. I had no idea that it was going to happen, he was able to keep it a surprise until he literally showed me the ring! It was Boris’s last day in Florida until he moved to North Carolina and he asked if I wanted to go take one last walk on the beach before we went to his mom’s “birthday” dinner. Since this is something we always do, I thought nothing of it. As we were walking down the beach, he kept saying “you know I love you right” to which my response was “what did you do?” We walked up to this pile of shells with an American flag sticking out in the sand when Boris reached down to dig it up and I said “what are you doing!? It’s so cute, just leave it!” It wasn’t until he pulled out the ring box from the sand and he asked me to marry him that I realized what was going on. My response was “WHAT!?!?!?” And then Boris asked again, and I said yes! My sister, Laurie, his sister, Camille, and our mutual best friend Mason came running out of the sand dunes to take our photos. We then celebrated at dinner with both of our families. It was the most perfect proposal I could have asked for.

Wedding Day Vision

We want our wedding day to be a big party! We are looking forward to spending an entire day with our closest family and friends . We imagine our day to be elegant and casual in a beautiful outdoor setting in Vero Beach. Our color scheme will be dusty blue and white.
