Jasmine and Razzie tied the knot during their MetroWest Golf Club wedding in Orlando, Florida. The two traveled down from Boston to celebrate with friends and family in the sunny state of Florida.
Boston is actually where Jasmine and Razzie’s story began. Razzie was a senior at Boston College finishing school and Jasmine was a sophomore at the University of Maine. Both shared a mutual interest and passion for sports, which led to a lasting friendship that turned into a relationship when Razzie moved back to Boston from Florida.
Razzie’s proposal to Jasmine took place in Boston as well. Enjoying a night out on the town, the two took a scenic detour after enjoying a beautiful dinner. Walking along the water, the moment could not have been more beautiful as the two admired the twinkling stars and skyline of Boston. Stopping to admire the setting, Razzie knew it was the perfect time to get down on one knee and ask for Jasmine’s hand in marriage. Of course Jasmine said, “yes” and truly up until their wedding day it was the most “beautiful moment” they had shared together.
From one beautiful moment to the next, their wedding day was just as special. Our day started off with Jasmine and Razzie getting ready in their separate suites. Jasmine was radiating in her bridal robe, while her girls were helping with hair and makeup. After getting ready and before their ceremony, the two shared a moment alone for a first touch before their ceremony.
Taking place outside among the oak trees and rolling hills of the MetroWest Golf Club, the two declared their vows and shared a first kiss. The weather could not have been more beautiful from a constant cool breeze to the perfect overcast sun for formal portraits. After photos with family, we moved on to Jasmine and Razzie’s wedding party which had us non-stop laughing. Jasmine and her girls in one word looked fabulous as they laughed, smiled, and runway walked for the camera. Razzie’s groomsmen were rather fabulous looking too, but after a few ‘GQ’ shots they could not hold their laughter back and were all smiles.
Rebekah with Runway Events kept things on time as we moved on from newlywed portraits to our sweethearts’ reception. Filled with touches of pink and white, their reception was felt light and floral during the day, with a vibrant feel at night from pops of changing colors with uplighting for dancing. Of course, I cannot help to mention one of my favorite moments of the night, which was the endless soul train that even great grandma walked through as everyone danced around. Our night ended with capturing a beautiful last dance and sparkler send off before Jasmine and Razzie headed off in a Jaguar getaway car for the night.
