Orlando Engagement
Danielle and Vinny met me out for their Orlando engagement at beautiful Lake Louisa. With our session on the calendar for a little bit, I was so excited to finally meet Dani and Vinny in person.
Friday Night Party Time
Fate had a plan all along for Dani and Vinny to meet. Back in 2015, Dani moved to Hammond, Louisiana for a dietetic internship. New to the area, she had to find a place to live, a neighborhood she loved, and a job to help pay the bills. Applying and being hired at the local Olive Garden, Dani never expected to find much more than a short term gig, but she did… and it was love.
The Olive Garden crew would get together often, which is where Dani and Vinny’s mutual friend Anna comes in. Planning out a little get-together, which the group called “Friday night party time,” their ritual of drinking margaritas and watching Disney movies became what everyone looked forward to at the end of the week. Both invited every Friday night, it allowed the door to open for Vinny and Dani to get to know one another better. Realizing they had so much in common, from their love of The Office, Justin Timberlake, and Disney, to even having the same birthday, they instantly became best friends and not long after dating soon ensued.
Value in their Relationship
Both Dani and Vinny love the that they both value their relationship. As the two explain, “we are romantic when we want to be, we can play pranks on each other without getting mad, and we both help each other grow into better people.” Oh, and fate leading the way again – its pretty killer they have the same birthday and get to celebrate with each other every year!
A Proposal on the Magic Kingdom PeopleMover
Lovers of Disney, Vinny knew it would be a magical spot to propose to Dani. For the past few years, the two have always taken on a selfie on Dani’s favorite ride, the PeopleMover. Wanting to take another memorable selfie, Vinny invited their closest family and friends out for a night not to be forgotten. While on the ride, Vinny somehow managed to get down on one knee in the cart as it was moving past the castle, and proposed to Dani. Completely unexpected, Dani was absolutely over the moon, and of course said, “yes!” Truly it is their favorite selfie picture on Dani’s favorite ride, and rightfully so sits center on their picture board.
