Allison and her daughter Anabelle met me out at beautiful Lake Louisa State Park for their sweet family and branding session. A mix of both, we captured so many adorable mommy daughter portraits, along with branding shots for Allison as she dives into the next step in her career path at Phenix Salon in Orlando, Florida.
This year marks an important year for Allison, as it is her 20th year of being a hairstylist. Starting in a salon as a receptionist, then assistant, and finally stylist, she has really learned all aspects of the business. As her career now takes a new step in owner as well, she is excited for her clients to see her new space and what the future holds.
Our session was not only a fun family session with Anabelle, but also a great opportunity to grab headshots of Allison. Allison explained that branding headshots, “are important because it was time to change and grow” along with sharing an inside look on who clients would be seeing before they arrive. I can’t echo Allison’s words enough of the importance of a gorgeous headshot. Fun, vibrant, and personality filled photos are truly what set a business apart.
Of course as much as I loved capturing Allison by herself, I also loved bringing in Anabelle for many family photos as well. This little girl as the biggest and brightest personality. Anabelle is Allsion’s whole world as she explains. Being a single mom since she was only two years old, Allison is not only growing her business for herself, but also for Anabelle. Watching Anabelle grow and become comfortable with herself is one of of her favorite aspects of being a mom.
