Melissa and Harold met me out a local tropical garden for their engagement session. From sun showers to thunderstorms, the weather held out just long enough to capture some absolutely gorgeous photos!
Living in Ocala, Melissa would drive in to Orlando often to visit with her friends. As their friend group grew, Harold and Melissa were introduced to one another. Over time they became best friends, which was just the beginning of building a beautiful foundation of love.
Falling in love with Melissa, Harold was first attracted to her smile, but also loves how caring and loving she is. As he explains, Melissa is “a selfless person who does anything she can for others.” For Melissa, it is Harold’s “huge heart” that she fell in love with, and as Melissa dotes, that while Harold is incredibly “outgoing, funny, and friendly” he also is incredibly caring too.
Celebrating their anniversary and Harold’s birthday, the two headed off west to Arizona. While visiting the Grand Canyon, Harold waited until the very last stop, which by the way had the most incredible view, to take a picture with Melissa. Asking a nearby visitor to take their picture, he pointed to the canyon as a diversion for Melissa to look away. When she looked back at Harold, she was absolutely over the moon to find him on one knee proposing to her. Completely shocked and overwhelmed, she of course said, “yes!,” and it was all caught on camera!
Looking forward to our team capturing our sweethearts tie the knot at Palma Ceia United Methodist Church and party the night away at Davis Islands Garden Club!
