Sophia and Caitlin met our photographer Amanda at in gorgeous downtown St Pete for their North Straub Park engagement. A beautiful day, their laughter made for an incredible session, along with the warmth of their love!
How They Met
Cait and I met downtown St. Petersburg at a Macdintons Irish pub about four years ago and have been inseparable ever since!
What They Love Most
Over the four years we have spent together we have grown to be each others best friend! We love and support each other in everything! i love that i can always count on her and she can always count on me. Cait and i are so excited to get married and start a family of our own! Cait is soooooo great with kids i love that about her! I cant believe i have found my person and i get to spend the rest of my life with such an amazing woman!
Sophia is a light of sunshine in a dreary world. She has shown me that being positive helps to change they way the world sees you. She has taught me important lessons on friendship and reciprocating effort. I feel as though we both have a great influence on each other which helps to expand our world together.
The Proposal
Caitlin proposed to me on December 27, 2018! She popped the question at one of my favorite places ever ICE at the Gaylord Palms resort and hotel. It this magical event they do every year around Christmas. My mother took me every year as a child and into my early adult years it is a very special place for me. My mother is no longer here but cait is sure to take me every year. Its our tradition now! She set everything up perfectly even got my besties to drive to Orlando to be there for our moment! i am the planner, the organizer, the bag packer etc. so i was very shocked she pulled all this off! but wait there’s more! she got a limo( which i have never been in and have always wanted to!) so after celebratory drinks in the lobby we all got dressed for a lovely dinner at Johnny’s steak house (another favvveeee for me!)oh yeah and thennnnnnn we got to spend the weekend visiting all the Disney parks! SHE LITERALLY PLANNED THE PERFECT PROPOSAL AND WEEKEND!
